Shawn and his crew were one of the hardest working contractors we hired for our house build in Galena. Shawn made several calls during our home build to ensure when we needed him he would be there to do his part and not hold up the building process.They came early and were the last to leave.
Everyone was very professional and went above and beyond to make sure we had a well insulated home. If we ever build again, Shawn will be the only call we make for our insulation needs.

Shawn was fantastic to worth with and provided us with sensible solutions at a reasonable price. We had one bedroom in our home that was always freezing in the winter. It also had an issue with condensation on one part of the wall. Shawn was able to fully remove the drywall, put up brand new insulation with a proper moisture barrier and restore the drywall. In addition, he inspected the attic and noted that there was virtually no insulation above a large part of that same room. He added the appropriate amount of blown in insulation. The change was instantly noticeable. The bedroom now stays in line with the rest of the home. Shawn showed up and performed the work himself and was great about communication throughout the project. Highly recommend him for any insulation needs in your home.

Shawn is a great and honest guy who runs a solid business. He showed up and assessed my job and when I was ready he came back and did the job himself.
I have a home in the Galena Territory and over the past 26 years since it was built, the insulation deteriorated and what was originally used was a significantly lower R grade per the code guidelines in 1999. Shawn found the best way to access the roof through my porch without doing any damage or needing any follow up work. He crawled throughout my roof blowing in a recycled fiber green product R52 insulation. He put everything back like he found it.
This winter has been a game changer. My house has been consistently warm. Shawn’s work is excellent. He won’t be your cheapest option but you definitely get what you pay for. Saunders Insulation is the best in the area.
